Temporary eBay failure effects our applications

It seems that eBay has accidentally changed our developer account on their system, which is effecting all our eBay related applications.

Since about 10:00 GMT none of our applications is able to post requests to the eBay Server.
Instead you will see the following error message:

Your application has exceeded usage limit on this call. Please make call to GetAPIAccess Rules to check your call usage.

We hope that the problem is fixed around 20:00 GMT at the latest. We will update this blog entry with any news on this issue.

Update: We were just informed by eBay’s developer support team that the issue has been resolved.

Thank you for posting this on the front page. That’s exactly what I came here seeking info about. Kudos to you for not burying this somewhere in a forum. I like the new look of your site as well.

Is this related to the issue I currently experience with fetching product information from eBay? A couple of days ago I listed several cell phones. Today I want to list some more but don’t get any prooduct information. Not even for cells which I listed successfully (with product information provided by eBay!) in the past.

Danke ! - Danke, GarageSale/iwascoding !
