Thanks for updating the German Shipping services … However … There is a need to update the BELGIAN shipping services too, and the app. refused to update these from eBay.be …
Is there a work-around for this?
The actual Belgian shipping services should stay stable now for about a year or 2 since the Belgian Post sells vouchers valid untill 2010 …

Hi Florian,

Please see my response to Stefan for an update version of GarageSale. Also, you got a lot of things wrong in your post:

I find it annoying that my version bought in May 2007 is already “out of date” and unsusable after such a short period of time and that users are forced again and again to buy updates of your software!

So far we only charged once for updates when we released GarageSale 4 early this year. All other updates have been free since 2004. I’m not sure why you got the impression that we are charging for updates “again and again”. We recently released two patches for GarageSale 3.4 that keep the application compatible with recent changes at eBay, thus enabling early customers run GarageSale with the very same license they bought almost 4 years ago.

Even if there are changes caused by ebay, you should not leave your users standing in the rain with a piece of software which is obviously full of errors and translation mistakes.

I am also trying to upload an auction to ebay with the Version 3.4.4, but there is an error regarding the “outdated” shipment method which makes it impossible to upload the auction without taking the risk of getting a bad surprise at the ebay site…

Even if it is “only” some 19 Dollars - there are lots of other software sellers who deliver free updates for a longer period of time. Even if there are changes caused by ebay, you should not leave your users standing in the rain with a piece of software which is obviously full of errors and translation mistakes.
